Healthy Recipes?
I have recently been itching to bake and cook some goodies! Well, what is a girl to do? Bake clean, healthy options! I am going to try some recipes I've been wanting to try for awhile and will share them with you!

My Story
Eating healthy and exercising have always been a struggle for me. My relationship with the two has gone up and down for as long as I can remember. For many years I thought the less I would eat the skinnier I would be. I'd run a million miles and refuel my body with as little as possible. The weight started going down and I continued to starve my body.
I began to fear food, the scale and anything that would make me "fat". My weight started to go up again while I was doing everything I knew how to be healthy. I'd look for low calorie items at the store or protein bars, but nothing seemed to work. I constantly compared myself to everyone around me and wondered why I kept gaining weight.
About a year ago I began reading healthy food blogs and tried their methods of being healthy. I learned more about food and more about how you should feed your body. With my weight still fluctuating and trying my best to be healthy and lose the weight the right way I decided to try something different. I saw how through healthy eating and the support of a health coach my dad was losing weight and feeling great.
These are my before and after pictures from 2010 and now. It has taken hard work and dedication, but I have my health coach and the support of my family to thank for my success. I’m so excited I finally found something to help people lose weight and get healthy, which has always been my passion. I’ve seen first hand what this program has done for my dad and I. It’s so easy and I can’t believe the energy I have now!

Welcome to my blog!
I want to share my passion for health and living active. I am truly passionate about feeling good and being happy with who you are. I have had my own struggles with weight and have seen those closest to me struggle. I know what it is like to not fit in a closet full of clothes. I know what it's like to workout and not see results. I know about dreading the scale and avoiding the truth, but I also know what it feels like to finally succeed.
My dad is the one who introduced me to this program. I have been pleading with him for years to eat healthy and workout, but it never seemed to last. As most of us do, he would start out strong, but not see results fast enough to stick with it. This time it was different. My dad is making a complete lifestyle change I never knew was possible. I am beyond proud of the progress he has made and look forward to seeing how far he can go! I am also starting this health journey to see what the program is truly about and to first hand experience this incredible lifestyle change!
